Remote access to a vessel/RV/vehicle from a geographical distance through a network to access and troubleshoot the E-PLEX system.

We are not performing unattended remote sessions. A licensed technician needs to be present at the time of the remote session willing to follow our directions.

We schedule our remote session appointments so that each customer receives the right amount of time with our tech support team. That’s why it is very important that you keep your scheduled appointment with us, and contact us on time.
If your schedule changes and you cannot keep your appointment, please contact us so we may reschedule you, and accommodate those customers who are waiting for an appointment.
If you do not cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 12 hours’ notice, you will have to schedule and pay for a new remote session.

For the remote session, you will need a Windows computer (with Windows 7 or later), an  FTDI serial to USB cable (click to purchase)  if you have an older clock with a Serial rainbow cable on the back (click to purchase) or a USBA to USBB cable for 500CCM or newer green-backed clocks, an internet connection, and  TeamViewer (click to download) on a Windows computer connected to the clock.

It is crucial on older clocks that the USB to serial cable has an FTDI chipset, if the wrong cable is acquired we will have to reschedule the remote session.
